Underfoot, an oversized EVA midsole delivers soft yet responsive cushioning. The heel stack height reaches 32 mm, which helps to reduce impact on long descents and hard-packed fire roads. Because the heel-to-toe drop is only 4 mm, you stay closer to the trail for better control on uneven ground.
The outsole uses Vibram Megagrip rubber with aggressive 5 mm lugs. These multidirectional lugs bite into loose gravel, mud and wet rock, then release quickly as you move on. As a result, the shoes feel secure on Irish forest tracks, coastal paths and mountain routes in changeable weather.
