RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Last updated: 7 September 2026
This Return Policy applies to goods ordered from Eliteboutique following a sourcing request or other distance order. Eliteboutique is operated by Paschal Sage, trading as Eliteboutique, based in County Clare, Ireland.
Submitting a sourcing request is free and does not commit you to purchasing anything. These return and cancellation terms apply once you decide to proceed with an order.
If you are purchasing as a consumer in Ireland or another European Union country, you normally have a legal right to cancel a distance order without giving a reason.
For most goods, the cancellation period expires 14 days after you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.
You may also notify Eliteboutique that you wish to cancel before delivery. Where a statutory cancellation right applies, the cancellation will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform Eliteboutique of your decision before the cancellation period expires.
After notifying us of cancellation, the goods must normally be returned within a further 14 days.
Many Eliteboutique orders begin with an individual sourcing request. The fact that we searched for or sourced a particular item at your request does not, by itself, remove your statutory cancellation rights.
Different rules may apply where an item has been genuinely made to your specifications, clearly personalised, or falls within another legal exception to the right to cancel.
Where such an exception applies, we will make this clear before you agree to place the order.
A deposit may be required to secure an order and forms part of the total purchase price.
Before a deposit is taken, we will confirm the product being ordered, the deposit amount, the balance due and the relevant delivery information.
If Eliteboutique is unable to supply the item ordered, any deposit paid for that item will be refunded.
Where you have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract and you exercise that right within the applicable cancellation period, the deposit forms part of the payments received and will be included in the refund due to you under consumer law.
Where no statutory cancellation right applies, or where that right has expired, whether a deposit is refundable will depend on the terms agreed with you before the order was placed and the circumstances of the cancellation.
Any non-refundable deposit term or cancellation charge will be explained before payment is taken and will not limit or remove any statutory consumer rights.
Where you exercise a statutory right to cancel because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to Eliteboutique unless we have agreed otherwise or the law requires us to bear that cost.
We recommend using a tracked or recorded delivery service and keeping proof of postage.
The goods remain your responsibility while being returned until they are received by Eliteboutique.
You should take reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession.
You may inspect and handle an item only as much as reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, similar to how you could examine an item in a shop.
If the value of the goods has been reduced because of handling beyond what is reasonably necessary, a deduction from the refund may be made where permitted by law.
Some goods are excluded from the standard cooling-off right under consumer law. These can include:
These exceptions do not remove your rights where goods are faulty, incorrect or not as described.
Goods supplied by Eliteboutique must conform to the sales contract and must be as described, fit for their intended purpose and of the quality consumers are legally entitled to expect.
If you receive goods that are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact Eliteboutique as soon as reasonably possible.
For Irish consumer purchases, where a fault arises within 30 days of receiving the goods, you may have a short-term right to terminate the contract and receive a full refund. You may choose a repair or replacement instead if you prefer.
After 30 days, your statutory remedies can include repair or replacement and, depending on the circumstances, a price reduction or refund.
Where goods need to be returned because they are faulty, incorrect or do not conform to the sales contract, Eliteboutique will bear the reasonable return cost.
Nothing in this Return Policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
Please contact Eliteboutique before returning an item so that we can confirm the correct return instructions and return address.
Please provide:
Contacting us first helps us process your return correctly. It does not reduce or remove any statutory right you may have to cancel or return goods.
Where you validly exercise your statutory cancellation right, Eliteboutique will refund all payments covered by that cancellation in accordance with applicable consumer law.
This includes any deposit paid as part of the purchase price.
Where required by law, the refund will also include the cost of standard delivery. If you selected a more expensive delivery option than the least expensive standard delivery option offered, the additional delivery cost does not have to be refunded.
We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that they have been sent back, where permitted by law.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method has been expressly agreed.
If Eliteboutique is unable to supply the item you ordered, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
You may be offered an alternative item if an appropriate option is available, but you are not obliged to accept an alternative.
If the agreed item cannot be supplied and you do not accept an alternative, any payment received for that item, including any deposit, will be refunded.
Normal supplier orders are generally estimated at approximately 21–25 days unless a different timeframe is advised before ordering.
If delivery is delayed, we will provide updated information where available.
Where delivery does not take place within an agreed or legally required timeframe, you may have the right to terminate the sales contract and receive a refund.
Where Eliteboutique accepts an order from a consumer in the United Kingdom, any mandatory UK consumer rights that apply to that transaction will be respected.
For most UK distance purchases, consumers generally have 14 days after receiving the goods to notify the trader that they wish to cancel and a further 14 days to return them.
Any additional customs or cross-border requirements associated with a UK return will be explained where relevant.
Where Eliteboutique arranges delivery, we remain responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you or to a person nominated by you.
If an item is lost or damaged during delivery, please contact us so we can investigate the issue and arrange an appropriate solution.
